PERSONAL TRAINING
Personal Training is not just for athletes. It is not just about having bigger arms or a thinner waist. Personal training is a way for you to get the individual attention, motivation and guidance that you need to perform, look and feel your best.

When it comes to Personal Training, it should be just that, "personal." Our Certified Personal Trainers will take time to evaluate your needs and goals. We will help you identify and avoid obstacles that may distract you from those goals. And, we will help you to maximize your results by focusing your time and effort to be as efficient and productive as possible.

That's why no matter who you are, no matter what your background is, and no matter what your goals are, we can build a plan for you. We will get you where you want to go, faster and safer. Your personal training analysis and plan will include:

Fitness Test
An assessment of your present fitness level including body measurement, body fat testing, resting heart rate, body fat, flexibility, muscular strength and endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and restructuring of your current fitness system.

Nutritional Consultation
Our nutritionist can help you develop a personal fitness plan for healthy eating and weight management. You will:
  • Learn to eat right
  • Make wise food choices
  • Lose weight and keep it off
  • Reach your goal weight safely
  • Learn how to work with your busy schedule and still eat healthy. Also, learn the importance of balance in your diet and how to get it.

Regular Re-Evaluations
Maintenance plans and regular re-evaluations can be scheduled with your personal trainer every 6-8 weeks as needed.

Joan WoltemateJOAN WOLTEMATE
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Joan Woltemate grew up in a large family. With nine brothers, she didn’t really have a choice but to love and play all sports. During her high school years, she participated in sports such as soccer, field hockey and softball. She excelled in softball, playing left field for the Varsity team all four years.

Joan continues to enjoy softball by coaching her daughter’s team as well as running pitching clinics. She really loves being with the team, teaching the essentials to the game, while keeping it fun and exciting. She teaches fair play as well as the importance of having team spirit. Joan brings out confidence in each young player by motivating each to do her very best. She believes that with confidence, great things can be accomplished.

Over twenty years ago, Joan met and married her best friend, Ed. She is very involved in raising their three children. She knows first-hand the time and commitment it takes to raise a family yet somehow finds time to exercise and stay in shape. After the birth of their third child, Joan began her running career. After competing in countless 5k races, She eventually trained herself to run a full marathon! She has competed in the Philadelphia Broad Street Run for the past ten years and will continue to do so as long as she can. Her running motto is: “Know your limits, then ignore them!”

Becoming a personal trainer has been a life long dream of Joan’s. Having a deep understanding of other’s personal goals, and the ability to provide the motivation, is a natural talent of hers. Please introduce yourself to the newest member of the Jenkintown Aquatic and Fitness Center. She’s fun, creative and driven, and can not wait to meet you!
