Services include weight loss/ management, sports nutrition, management of diet-related health conditions, or simply learning basic nutrition principles. At AFC we hold the highest standards; the staff dietitian, along with the entire staff at AFC, is highly qualified and our goal is to guide you along your path to wellness.
We're glad you're here, and that you've taken the first step towards a healthier lifestyle. But exercise is only a supplement to this lifestyle - nutrition is paramount. Meet our Registered Dieticians:
John is registered through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Licensed through the State of Pennsylvania. John has been doing corporate and outpatient counseling for the past three years, working with a variety of clients ranging from children to seniors with various health conditions. He is credentialed through Independence Blue Cross and Aetna Health Care plans to provide in-network Nutrition Counseling services. He is in the process of completing my Graduate Studies in Education and is an Adjunct professor at Manor College in Jenkintown.

Brian Bowers is a Registered Dietitian accredited through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He began his undergraduate degree at La Salle University, where he played Division 1 soccer. Brian graduated Summa Cum Laude from West Chester University of Pennsylvania, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Brian completed his clinical nutrition training over a ten-month period at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore. There, he provided nutrition care to patients in various clinical rotations, including: diabetes, renal and liver disease/transplant, GI disease, oncology, and various intensive care units.
Brian's passions include educating and motivating his clients to make well-informed nutritional decisions, which in turn, lead to healthier and happier lifestyles. His focus is to inspire and encourage his clients along their journey to improving overall health and well-being. Currently, Brian works in and around the Mid-Atlantic Region as a health educator and corporate wellness dietitian, providing individualized nutrition counseling. His other areas of interest include weight management, medical nutrition therapy, health promotion, disease prevention, and sports nutrition.
Lauren is a Registered Dietitian with a degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware. She has worked with more than 2,000 people from a variety of corporations, providing telephonic and email based health-coaching services to facilitate behavior change and promote healthy lifestyle habits pertaining to healthy eating, physical activity, weight management, tobacco cessation, and stress management. As a Health Coach Supervisor for Alere, Lauren now oversees a team of 45 health professionals including Registered Dietitians, Social Workers, and Exercise Physiologists.
Lauren chose this line of work so that she could support people in making the changes they want, in order to live a better life for themselves. When it comes to health and wellness, people can accomplish more than they think! Lauren love’s empowering individuals and helping them to realize this while providing guidance and support in making lifestyle changes.
Hobbies: Yoga, gardening, horseback riding, cooking, tennis, and playing with her dog.

Beryl Krinsky has a strong background in Nutrition and Food Science and has been in this Industry for 10 years. Beryl is a Registered Dietitian, has a M.S. in Food Science and a M.B.A. in Food Marketing.
Her work has ranged from teaching farmers how to cultivate healthy crops, to developing new products that are sold in major retail channels, to educating consumers about the health benefits of eating well, and much more.
Her passion is to bring nutritious and delicious food to all consumers. Beryl is very excited about her new opportunity to join Future Fitness, and work with everyone who is interested in learning about nutrition for exercise and additional topics.

Brittany Graber is a certified Registered Dietitian and state licensed Dietitian Nutritionist. She graduated from Pennsylvania State University from the Eberly College of Science with her Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science and a minor in Psychology. She completed her dietetic internship through Sodexo's Philadelphia/New Jersey program.
Brittany is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a member of the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition (SCAN) practice group. Over the past six years, Brittany has been primarily based in clinical settings- primarily long term care, however, remains passionate in the area of wellness and the power of preventative nutrition therapy. Brittany's nutritional philosophy is based on evidence based research and facts, not food trends and fads. Brittany believes food is the most powerful medicine.
ABOUT REGISTERED DIETITIANS (RD's)
All Registered Dietitians are credentialed by the Commission of Dietetic Registration. The R.D. after a name represents a trademark assuring that the person has completed a baccalaureate degree in food and nutrition, completed a dietetic internship of 900 practice hours, and passed a national registration examination in food science, clinical nutrition, food service management, infection standards, education and communication, and community nutrition. An R.D. must also take continuing education classes to keep their credentials.
All Registered Dietitians ARE nutritionists, however a nutritionist is NOT a Registered Dietitian. In New Jersey, there is no licensing for nutritionists yet, and ANYONE can call themselves a nutritionist and have little formal training and/or education. However, Pennsylvania requires a license to practice and is only available to RD's, as a Licensed Dietitian/Nutritionist (LDN).
